The LMI Story
Created in 2025, LMI Network LLC started with an idea that began on the eve of the 2020 pandemic - can technology in the hands of mediators meaningfully help reduce conflict in peoples' lives?
Instant Mediations LLC
In 2019, lawyer and mediator Mac Pierre-Louis, along with Natalia Olowska-Czajka, started InstantMediations to solve a simple problem: helping people resolve disputes when they cannot meet in person. They used video tools like Zoom to connect people with mediators anywhere in the world, making the process safe, secure, and easy.
Introducing the Instant Mediations Podcast
During the lockdowns of 2020, the team co-authored the book "How To Mediate Online" and launched the Instant Mediations Podcast to help people understand online dispute resolution. This show brought experts together to explain how to settle legal issues remotely without the stress of going to court.
Updating to Instant Mediators
By 2023, after leadership changes, the platform updated its focus to "Instant Mediators" to help everyday people find the right expert for their specific needs. This change made it much simpler for users to search for professionals based on their language, style, and location.
Updating to LMI Podcast
That same year, the podcast was renamed the LMI Podcast to cover more than just mediation. It began exploring the bigger picture of how law, media, and technology work together, helping legal professionals stay ahead of the curve.
Evolving to LMI Professionals and LMI Network
In the summer of 2025, the directory began evolving into LMI Professionals to include more than just mediators. This new era welcomes lawyers and ODR professionals who love tech, making it easier for clients to find a wide team of helpers for any legal issue. InstantMediators.com was moved as a brand of MacPierreLouis.com and LMI Network was born create a suite of tech products and services for lawyers and mediators.
Creating ZODR AI
By the fall of 2025, the Network will launch Zodr.ai, a smart tool designed to handle the busywork and paperwork for legal professionals. This allows lawyers and mediators to spend less time on forms and more time actually helping people resolve their problems.
Developing Justice Sites
In 2026, the Network will introduce Justice Sites to build professional, easy-to-use websites for law firms. This ensures that every member of the network has a great online presence to connect with the people who need them most.
